Central United Cooperative is seeking a professional truck driver to ensure safe loading, transport, and delivery of bulk refined fuels and propane to storage locations and customer sites. The role emphasizes route efficiency, compliance with DOT/OSHA, and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities include maintaining the vehicle, delivering Ladings, performing routine inspections, and participating in safety training.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A commercial driver’s license with haz-mat and tanker endorsements.
• Must be an insurable driver.
• Ability to operate vehicles with manual and automatic transmissions.
• Pre-employment and random drug testing required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for wide customer and colleague base.
• Ability and willingness to work extended hours during peak seasons.

Responsabilités

• Coordinates an efficient route system with dispatch to maximize time and cost-per-mile efficiencies.
• Maintains and is responsible for the appearance and upkeep of the assigned vehicle.
• Operates vehicle safely and in compliance with all DOT, OSHA, and state/federal regulations.
• Delivers all Bill of Ladings accurately to customers and the internal energy accounting office.
• Performs routine customer tank inspections and addresses complaints per policy.
• Maintains required logs, daily truck inspections, and documentation.
• Attends training sessions as part of continuing education programs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
