Job summary

Irving Oil is seeking a Seasonal Fuel Delivery Driver to work with the Dispatch team to deliver fuel to residential and commercial customers. The role emphasizes safety, DOT compliance, and adherence to routes while loading and inspecting the truck before and after shifts.

You will be responsible for daily route execution, timely deliveries, and maintaining accurate paperwork. This position offers on-the-job training, a safety-focused environment, and a competitive hourly wage.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B with Hazmat & Tanker endorsements required.
• Minimum 2 years Commercial Transportation experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Drive a delivery truck while adhering to all DOT regulations and procedures.
• Coordinate with Dispatch Team to deliver products to residential and commercial customers.
• Follow daily routes using knowledge of geography, routes, zones, streets, etc.
• Load truck with required product while adhering to safety policies at loading site/bulk plant.
• Complete daily shift report, pre- and post-trip inspections and paperwork.

As a Seasonal Fuel Delivery Driver, you will work with our Dispatch team to deliver product safely to our residential and commercial customers. Your goal will be to provide a meaningful and essential service to our Irving Energy customers in a safety focused environment. Your success will depend on your ability to adhere to daily routes, load the fuel truck, and complete pre-and post-trip inspections while maintaining all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and procedures.

Your Responsibilities

Your Experience

• A valid CDL Class A or Class B Driver’s License with Hazmat & Tanker endorsements
• Minimum 2 years Commercial Transportation experience required and experience with liquid loads is an asset
• High school diploma or G.E.D. required
  
  

The expected hourly range for this position is $28.50-$31.50. Placement within range will be based on relevant experience, qualifications, and skills.
