Job summary

Fuel It Refuelling LLC is seeking a responsible Fuel Delivery Driver to operate company fuel trucks and complete wheel-to-wheel and bulk deliveries for commercial clients in Bloomfield, CT. A valid CDL Class A or B with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (or X with manual driving ability) is required, along with a clean MVR and pass of a DOT drug screen.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B with Hazmat (H) and Tanker (N) endorsements, or X endorsement and ability to drive manual.
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience; fuel delivery experience is a plus.
• Must be 25 years or older for insurance compliance.
• Clean driving record (MVR) and background check; pass DOT drug/alcohol screen.
• Ability to lift and maneuver fuel hoses; basic smartphone/logistics tech skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate fuel trucks to deliver gasoline and diesel to commercial clients.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment is road-ready and safe.
• Load and unload fuel according to safety standards and guidelines.
• Complete delivery logs, fuel meters, and client sign-offs using dispatch tools.
• Follow route plans and communicate with dispatch about delays or site issues.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and on-site interactions.
• Adhere to DOT, OSHA, and company safety protocols.
• Report vehicle or equipment issues promptly to supervisors.
