Job summary

Coastal Waste & Recycling is seeking a CDL Front End Loader Driver to safely operate a Front End Loader Truck along residential and commercial routes, serving customers with professionalism.

The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and team collaboration. You will perform pre-trip inspections, maintain equipment, and engage with dispatch to ensure timely service, while representing Coastal positively.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Front End Loader Truck on assigned routes.
• Serve residential, commercial, industrial, or municipal customers.
• Collect, transport, deliver, exchange, or dispose of materials per procedures.
• Operate hydraulic equipment and vehicle controls safely.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Report safety concerns, accidents, or delays promptly.
• Communicate with dispatch and operations throughout the day.
• Use onboard tech to complete route documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional vehicle.
• Assist teammates after completing routes as directed by management.
• Follow DOT regulations and wear PPE at all times.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while representing Coastal.

Your Role

As a CDL Front End Loader Driver, you'll safely operate a Front End Loader Truck while servicing customers along assigned routes. You'll be responsible for safely collecting, transporting, delivering, or servicing materials while providing outstanding customer service and representing Coastal professionally every day.

What You'll Do

• Safely operate a Front End Loader Truck on assigned routes.

• Service residential, commercial, industrial, or municipal customers based on assigned route.

• Collect, transport, deliver, exchange, or dispose of materials in accordance with operational procedures.

• Operate hydraulic equipment and vehicle controls safely and efficiently.

• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

• Report mechanical concerns, safety issues, accidents, or route delays promptly.

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations throughout the day.

• Utilize onboard technology and electronic devices to complete route documentation.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional vehicle.

What You’ll Bring

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with an acceptable driving record.

• Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and associated equipment.

• Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Ability to lift, push, pull, or move up to 50 pounds as needed.

• Ability to safely climb, bend, squat, kneel, and enter/exit equipment throughout the workday.

• Willingness to work overtime and varying schedules as business needs require.
