Job summary

Coastal Waste & Recycling is seeking a CDL Driver in Florida to safely operate a Container Delivery Truck on assigned routes, delivering services to residential, commercial, industrial, and municipal customers. You will represent Coastal professionally and provide excellent customer service.

You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, promptly report issues, and coordinate with dispatch to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications

CDL with an acceptable driving record.
Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and equipment.
Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
Ability to safely climb, bend, and enter/exit equipment.
Willingness to work overtime and varying schedules.

Responsibilities

Operate hydraulic equipment and vehicle controls safely and efficiently.

Report mechanical concerns, safety issues, accidents, or delays promptly.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations throughout the day.
Utilize onboard technology to complete route documentation.
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional vehicle.
Assist teammates and participate in other operational needs as directed.

Your Role

As a CDL Driver, you'll safely operate a Container Delivery Truck while servicing customers along assigned routes. You'll be responsible for safely collecting, transporting, delivering, or servicing materials while providing outstanding customer service and representing Coastal professionally every day.

What You'll Do

Safely operate a Container Delivery Truck on assigned routes.
Service residential, commercial, industrial, or municipal customers based on assigned route.
Collect, transport, deliver, exchange, or dispose of materials in accordance with operational procedures.
Operate hydraulic equipment and vehicle controls safely and efficiently.
Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Report mechanical concerns, safety issues, accidents, or route delays promptly.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations throughout the day.
Utilize onboard technology and electronic devices to complete route documentation.
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional vehicle.

Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

What You'll Bring

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with an acceptable driving record.
Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and associated equipment.
