Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is hiring a Front-End Driver in Mauston, WI to service multiple residential and commercial routes. The role involves operating front-end equipment, following safety procedures, and maintaining customer sites along busy routes.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid CDL.
• Minimum of one year commercial truck driving experience OR CDL school certificate.
• Must meet safety sensitive criteria per company standards.
• Ability to safely drive the truck and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Drive front-end or ancillary equipment along designated routes to collect solid waste and transport it to post-collection facilities.
• Open containers and load cans as needed, maneuvering up to 3-4 yard cans.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections; submit vehicle condition reports.
• Interact courteously with customers and the public; notify supervisor of issues.
• Keep truck and site clean and safe; manage spills around dumping operations.
• Maintain and submit logbooks, productivity sheets, and post-trip inspections as required by law.
• Back up and maneuver the truck using mirrors and GPS to locate service addresses.
• Follow safety standards and company rules on vehicle operation.
