Qualifications

• Must have a Class A or B CDL valid for the state of employment.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Understand refuse collection policies and DOT/state requirements for CMVs.
• Hearing and vision within normal range.
• Ability to safely operate and maneuver a front-load/roll-off refuse truck.
• Ability to read/write English well for paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Service commercial routes by collecting Front Load Containers, loading and disposing at designated sites.
• Complete route/productivity sheets, mileage, fuel, logs, and vehicle reports.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and address issues.
• Ensure safe operation including pre/post-trip inspections and safety checks.
• Keep truck clean; perform routine maintenance checks.
• Follow schedules and report problems to supervisors.
