Job summary

Waste Pro USA Inc. is hiring for Front Load Driver positions in Florida. The role involves operating refuse collection trucks on pre-assigned routes, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and maintaining a clean, safe vehicle.

You will interact with customers to provide courteous service and report issues to supervisors. Qualified candidates must hold a Class A or B CDL valid for the state, be at least 21 years old, and meet DOT requirements for commercial vehicle operators.

Qualifications

• Must have a Class A or B CDL valid for the state of work.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Understand refuse collection policies, procedures, guidelines and practices; understanding of DOT requirements for operators of commercial motor vehicles.
• Able to read and write English well enough to communicate with customers, co-workers, dispatch and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-load refuse trucks on pre-assigned routes and service commercial accounts.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain truck cleanliness.
• Complete route/productivity sheets, mileage logs, and vehicle condition reports.
• Communicate professionally with customers and report issues to appropriate contacts.
• Ensure safe operation of the truck and proper handling of waste materials.
• Maintain and clean the truck, including exterior washes and inspections.
