Job summary

Abbott is seeking a CDL Operator for the Altavista, VA plant on 2nd shift. You will handle receiving, loading/unloading, case-picking, barcoding and palletizing tasks with strict adherence to safety and documentation standards.

Responsibilities include ensuring accurate data entry, maintaining databases, and supporting shipping/receiving office functions. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid CDL license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Experience in receiving, shipping, and warehouse documentation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Record inbound pallets via accurate data entry and maintain databases.
• Operate palletizer equipment and shuttle switcher safely to load trailers.
• Receive, unload, package, label, and store raw materials with accuracy.
• Prepare shipping documents and ensure BOLs are signed and dated.
• Perform warehouse cleanup and support other tasks as needed.
