Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a Foreperson to lead a union crew in the field. CDL is required, and the role is full-time and non-exempt. Pay is hourly and benefits vary by tenure, position, and location.

The Foreperson will plan daily work, train crew members, and ensure safety and compliance with OSHA standards while coordinating with supervisors and property owners for access and appropriate work execution. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to understand drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment, etc.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills are required.
• Must have strong organizational skills and multi-tasking ability.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision and adapt to field requirements.
• Valid CDL is required.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily crew work after receiving orders.
• Conducts field training and retraining for crew members.
• Upholds safety culture and OSHA-compliant practices.
• Obtains permission from property owners for work.
• Maintains crew records, timesheets, and reports.
• Keeps customers informed and maintains good public relations.
