Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a local CDL driver to operate flatbed trucks and 8000-lb propane forklifts on local routes. Training is provided for both vehicle operation and customer service duties.

You will load and unload storage containers and ensure courteous service to customers at their homes or businesses. Role includes ongoing training through U-Haul education programs and requires a clean driving record, CDL, and DOT certification.

Qualifications

• Clean motor vehicle driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• DOT certification
• CDL
• Must be 18 or older
• Ability to operate a flatbed truck
• Ability to operate an 8000-lb propane forklift or a truck-mounted forklift
• Ability to move a minimum of 50 lbs assisted or unassisted
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors and use protective clothing or gear as required

Responsibilities

• Operate a flatbed truck; training provided
• Operate an 8000-lb propane forklift or a truck-mounted forklift; training provided
• Load and unload storage containers for delivery
• Transport storage containers to and from customers' homes and businesses on local routes
• Ensure customers are provided with friendly and courteous service
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University
