Job summary

Airgas, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician in the Huntsville/Decatur/Florence, AL area. The role focuses on installing, maintaining, and servicing CO2 systems and beverage lines.

CDL is required, and the position emphasizes hands-on field work rather than a standard route driving job. Responsibilities include on-site installations, repairs, and safety-first operations, with a 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM schedule and overtime potential.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL with Hazmat, Tanker & Airbrake endorsements.
• 1 year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or proof of trucking school completion in the last 12 months.
• No more than two traffic convictions or at-fault accidents in the last 3 years.
• No DUI or similar substance violation in the last 7 years.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and remove CO2 microbulk tanks and syrup/beer lines at customer facilities.
• Safely navigate customer sites, including climbing ladders and drilling through walls.
• Move heavy equipment with hand trucks and operate a 19,000 GVW company truck.
