Job summary

FARMERS CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETY in Sioux Center, IA is seeking a Feed Truck Driver. Entry level encouraged; on-the-job training provided to operate feed delivery trucks, follow safety procedures, and support daily feed department operations.

You will work with a team to ensure accurate loads, compliance with DOT rules, and prompt delivery. This role offers benefits, paid training, and opportunities for advancement within the cooperative.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A required or imminent possession.
• Understanding DOT placarding and hazardous rules.
• Ability to operate and understand mobile equipment.
• Basic mechanical skills for maintenance tasks.
• Willingness to work extended hours during busy seasons.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend all scheduled FCS and feed department safety meetings.
• Follow all FCS SOPs.
• Weigh each order or load; check production variances per SOPs.
• Report intolerant weights of loads to feed mill manager.
• Complete daily truck delivery records (QF-031).
• Utilize GPS on every load.
• Sample every load; date and write sample bag.
• Verify order details (911 address, bin numbers) before delivery.
• Clean truck interior and exterior as needed.
• Obey traffic laws; driver bears responsibility for violations.
