Job summary

Clean Harbors in Wichita, KS is seeking a Class A CDL Equipment Operator to operate a variety of heavy and light duty trucks at customer sites, including vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll-offs. The role includes driving and non-driving duties on and off sites for hazardous waste clean-up.

Hazmat and tanker endorsements preferred; training academy out-of-state paid by the company. Typical schedule Monday–Friday with 6–7 am starts, overtime after 40 hours, on-call and occasional travel up

Qualifications

• Hazmat and tanker endorsements preferred, ability to obtain required
• Must be available for emergency response/project work that could take you out of town up to 2 weeks at a time, hotel and per diem provided

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of heavy and light duty trucks/work equipment at customer sites (vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, roll-offs)
• Perform driving and non-driving duties on and off customer sites related to hazardous waste clean-up
• Travel on-call and respond to emergency projects as needed
