Job summary

Texas First Rentals (TFR) is seeking a Haul Truck Driver to safely transport industrial and commercial equipment to customer locations and branch stores. The role involves local and long-distance hauling, loading/unloading, and securing equipment, with emphasis on safety and timely deliveries.

The position requires a CDL Class A, DOT medical card, and a strong focus on safe driving practices, vehicle inspections, and accurate logkeeping.

Qualifications

• Three years’ driving experience preferred with verifiable over-the-road operating experience
• Valid CDL Class A and DOT medical card required
• Knowledge of operating delivery trucks and towing equipment in urban/high-traffic areas

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up equipment safely, timely, and courteously
• Secure equipment using chains, straps, and blocking per procedures
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report defects or accidents
• Maintain clean driving record and adhere to safety standards
• Complete DOT daily logs and trip sheets accurately
• Assist other departments as needed and perform related duties
