Job summary

Texas First Rentals in Corpus Christi is seeking a driver responsible for safe transportation of construction equipment to customer sites and branch stores. This role entails local and long‑distance hauling, plus loading, unloading, and securing equipment.

You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain a clean driving record, and complete daily DOT logs. A Class A CDL and high school diploma are preferred, with travel up to 100% as needed.

Qualifications

• Three years' driving experience preferred with verifiable over-the-road experience operating combination commercial vehicles.
• Valid Driver's license with Class A CDL certification, DOT Physical Examination.
• Experience driving delivery trucks in high traffic or congested city zones.

Responsibilities

• Delivery and pickup of equipment for customers in a safe and timely manner.
• Secure equipment by chaining, strapping, and blocking per procedures.
• Perform pre- and post- trip vehicle inspections; report defects or issues.
• Complete DOT daily logs and trip sheets accurately.
• Demonstrate proper equipment usage to customers at delivery site.
• Assist other departments as required and perform duties as assigned.
