Aviator Paving, a paving and grading contractor, seeks a Dump Truck Driver to keep Triad crews supplied with stone, asphalt, millings, and equipment. You will safely haul materials between sites, perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, and maintain logs.

This role requires a valid Class A CDL with Tank Vehicle endorsement, clean driving record, and ability to pass DOT drug tests. You’ll coordinate with dispatchers and foremen, work early starts, and support field teams as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of commercial driving experience; dump trucks or trailers in construction preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL with Tank Vehicle (N) endorsement and a clean driving record.
• Valid DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate and ability to pass pre-employment and random DOT drug/alcohol testing.
• Knowledge of pre-trip/post-trip inspection procedures, hydraulic dump operation, load securement, and legal weight limits.
• Ability to complete paper or electronic logs and delivery tickets accurately.
• Clear communication with dispatch and field crews; dependability and punctuality.
• Experience hauling hot mix asphalt, stone, and millings is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Haul construction materials and move equipment to and from job sites, quarries, plants, dumps, and yards.
• Operate truck hydraulic dump to unload materials safely as directed.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report defects promptly.
• Maintain accurate driver logs, tickets, and fuel receipts; ensure compliance with logs and records.
• Coordinate deliveries with dispatchers, project managers, foremen, and flaggers.
• Adhere to Aviator Paving safety program and DOT/FMCSA requirements; report incidents.
• Assist ground crews with light tasks when not hauling.
