Job summary

Izzio Artisan Bakery is hiring a CDL Driver to perform daily delivery routes with a strong emphasis on safety and productivity. You will comply with all DOT and local regulations, break down products, shelf stack, offload with pallet jacks, and complete required delivery documentation.

Requirements include a Class A CDL in good standing, 21+ years old, and at least 3 years of commercial driving experience. The role requires the ability to lift 50+ pounds and may involve operating MHE equipment.

We are looking to hire a CDL Driver for Izzio who will be responsible for completing daily delivery routes in a safe and timely manner, with a strong focus on safety and productivity. This role requires full compliance with all federal, state, and local road regulations, including all DOT operating and record-keeping procedures. Duties may include, but are not limited to, breaking down product, shelf stacking, offloading using electric pallet jacks, performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, and collecting all required delivery documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete daily delivery routes safely and on time, with a strong focus on safety and productivity
• Comply with all federal, state, and local transportation laws and regulations, including DOT operating and record-keeping requirements
• Break down product and perform shelf stacking as required
• Offload products using electric pallet jacks
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation
• Collect and maintain all required delivery and transportation documentation
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

• Class “A” CDL License in good standing
• Ability to work in the United States

• Liftgate, reefer, electric pallet jack and forklift experience helpful

Position Requirements

• Basic experienced with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Maintain regular, consistent attendance & punctuality. Must have a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

• Required to use motor coordination with arm, hand, finger, and leg dexterity.
• Required to exert physical effort in handling objects more than 50 pounds frequently.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
• Ability to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Ability to withstand cool and/or cold temperatures.
• Normal setting for this job is outdoors and/or driving a video/GPS monitored vehicle.
• Will be exposed to a physical environment, which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements most of the workday.

Position information:

Reports to: Chief Engineer

Location: Local

Compensation Range: $35 to $37

Shift: 6am to 2.30pm Tuesday to Saturday and 2pm to 10.30pm Monday to Friday

Closing Date: 09/30/2026

Compensation is based on the level of experience, other relevant experience, and requirements of the position. The range provided serves only as a guideline and does not automatically qualify all candidates (internal or external) for the high end of the range.
