Job summary

Feld Entertainment, Inc. is seeking a CDL-equipped semi-tractor driver to haul trailers and containers on Studio grounds and between off-site storage facilities in Ellenton, FL.

The role includes coordinating inspections with vendors and collaborating with domestic and international transportation coordinators and on-site security for logistics and storage of trailers. Secondary duties may include Studio operations tasks as directed by the manager, with occasional night and weekend overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Class A CDL license required.
• Recent semi-trailer road experience within the last year.
• Heavy equipment and/or forklift certifications, training, and experience handling.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers, chassis, and containers between facilities and storage locations.
• Maintain semi-tractor and yard spotter in good working condition.
• Coordinate with transportation department and service providers for repairs, tracking, and inspections.
• Fulfill maintenance duties as assigned by manager.
• Maintain logs of movements and locations of chassis, trailers, and containers.

Job description

Primary responsibility will be serving as the semi-tractor driver for hauling trailers and containers within the Studio grounds and between our local off-site storage facilities. This includes coordinating DOT inspections and maintenance with various vendors. Will also work with domestic and international transportation department coordinators and on-site security personnel regarding logistics and storage of trailers. When there are times that there’s no activity related to trailer movement, this position will assume Studio operations duties as directed by manager as a secondary responsibility. This position will require periods of night and week-end over-time duties.

Essential Functions

• Movement of trailers, chassis, and containers from facility to storage location and vise-versa.
• Maintain semi-tractor and yard spotter in good working condition.
• Communicate and coordinate with transportation department and service providers for necessary repairs, tracking, and inspections.
• Fulfill maintenance related duties as assigned by manager.
• Maintain logs of movements and locations of chassis, trailers, and containers.

• Must be organized in maintaining logs and producing reports on movements and locations.
• Use of typical maintenance tools and equipment.
• Forklift/Heavy equipment experience.
