Job summary

River Bend Food Bank in Davenport, IA is seeking a part-time Driver & Warehouse Associate with a CDL. You will operate commercial vehicles to pick up and deliver within RBFB's service area and perform warehouse duties.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading with forklift or pallet jack, ensuring product safety, assisting with order fulfillment, and maintaining strong service to donors and partner agencies while complying with safety and DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with a positive work history.
• Valid Class A or B CDL required.
• Forklift and warehousing experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain ServSafe certification.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings and Saturdays.
• Pre-employment background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Safely operates a commercial vehicle between RBFB warehouse and partner agencies.
• Loads and unloads products using a forklift or pallet jack.
• Inspects donated products for safety and sanitation standards.
• Assists with order fulfillment including packing and related paperwork.
• Maintains positive relationships with donors, agencies, and staff.
• Records vehicle mileage and fuel usage; ensures timely vehicle inspections.
