Job summary

Peoplelink Staffing, in partnership with Harbor Steel, seeks a CDL Driver/Warehouse Associate to shuttle steel between Bowling Green and Lexington facilities and to perform warehouse duties on non-delivery days.

The role requires a valid CDL, ability to comply with DOT rules, and experience handling loads, straps, and tarps. You’ll interact with customers as the face of Harbor Steel and follow unloading procedures at both Harbor Steel and customer sites.

Qualifications

• Possession of valid driver’s license and appropriate class CDL.
• Ability to comply with DOT regulations.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Certified to operate a crane and a forklift.
• Ability to keep a logbook if required.
• Basic math skills.
• High school diploma, training, and/or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip inspections.
• Comply with DOT regulations.
• Keep an electronic log as required.
• Check truck before departure to cross reference bill of lading to loaded material.
• Strap and tarp loads.
• Interact positively with customers as the “face of Harbor Steel”.
• Understand and comply with Harbor Transportation unloading procedures at Harbor Steel and customer facility.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Keep truck clean of all debris.

Peoplelink Staffing, in partnership with a prominent Steel Warehouse in the Bowling Green, KY: area, is seeking a CDL Driver/Warehouse Associate to join their team!

Summary:

• Shifts Available:
  • Shuttle Driver who will deliver steel from Bowling Green facility to Lexington Facility and back to Bowling Green on Tuesdays and Thursdays Other days, will be working in the Warehouse
