Employment Bonus
$5500 employment bonus awarded as follows:
- $1,500 after 3 months of employment
- $4,000 after 6 months of employment
- Payments will be made as soon as practicable after the specified time frames.
- Must be employed in good standing at the time of payout to qualify.
Position Summary
Deliver products efficiently to customers in a safe, courteous, professional, compliant, and timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Operate CMV safely and professionally, such as, combination vehicles or straight trucks over 10,001 lbs. GVWR or GCWR.
- Complete pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections using mobile logs.
- Unload and deliver products safely and accurately using appropriate equipment.
- Complete delivery and pickup paperwork accurately.
- Operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
- Maintain product levels on store racks, shelves, displays, and in coolers; transport products using MHE.
- Communicate any route barriers to supervisors for customer or dispatch updates.
- Report unsafe working conditions.
- Complete all required training and certifications.
- Follow company policies, store policies, and applicable laws including DOT regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve concerns.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum age of 21 or legal age as per state law.
- Valid Class A CDL and acceptable driving record.
- At least one year of driving experience with a Class A CDL or military equivalent.
- One year of safe driving experience, recent within the past 12 months, in a similar CMV.
- Experience in environments requiring heavy lifting, such as distribution centers or construction.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations.
- Pass post-offer drug test, background check, and DOT physical.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- High school diploma or GED.
- Beverage industry experience.
- Customer service experience including problem-solving.
- Experience with manual or powered pallet jacks.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Repetitive lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects up to 50 pounds.
- Repetitive pushing and pulling of transport equipment over 100 yards.
- Ability to exert physical effort over sustained periods.
