CDL Driver Wanted - $5,500 Sign On Bonus!

$5,500 Employment Bonus

• Payments will be made as soon as practicable after the specified time frames.
• You must be employed in good standing at the time of payout to qualify.

Details of bonus payments:

• After 3 months of employment, you will receive $1,500.
• After 6 months of employment, you will receive an additional $4,000.

Position Summary

Deliver products efficiently to customers in a safe, courteous, professional, and compliant manner, ensuring timely service.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Safe operation of a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV), such as combination vehicles or straight trucks over 10,001 lbs GVWR or GCWR.
• Performing pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections using mobile logs.
• Safely unload and deliver products using lift gates, hand trucks, or pallet jacks.
• Completing delivery and pickup paperwork accurately.
• Operating Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Maintaining product levels on store racks, shelves, displays, and in coolers, transporting items between truck, backroom, and display floor.
• Communicating any barriers to route plans to supervisors for adjustments.
• Reporting unsafe working conditions.
• Attending and completing all required training and certifications.
• Following company policies, store policies, and all applicable laws including DOT regulations.
• Providing exceptional customer service and resolving concerns.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum age of 21 or legal age as per state law.
• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• At least one year of driving experience with a Class A CDL or equivalent military experience.
• Recent safe driving experience within the past 12 months in a similar CMV.
• One year of work experience in physically demanding environments such as distribution centers, farms, or construction.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Must pass a post-offer drug test, background check, and DOT physical.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• High school diploma or GED.
• Beverage industry experience.
• Customer service experience, including problem-solving.
• Experience with manual or powered pallet jacks.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to push and pull manual equipment over at least 100 yards.
• Physically exert oneself over sustained periods.
