Envirowaste Services Group in Charlotte, NC is seeking a CDL B Driver / Vac Truck Operator. The role combines driving with hands-on VAC truck operation to support storm and sewer line maintenance. Candidates must have a Class B CDL with a tanker endorsement, experience with vacuum trucks, and the ability to drive manual transmissions.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable personal transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Driving and operation: approx. 20% of time spent driving; 80% operating VAC truck and assisting with storm/sewer line maintenance.
• Hands-on tasks: lifting manhole lids and entering manholes when necessary.
• Equipment management: operate VAC truck hydraulics and boom following safety PPE guidelines.

Position: CDL B Driver / Vac Truck Operator

Location: Charlotte, NC

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 an hour plus overtime

What We’re Looking For:

• Class B CDL with Tanker Endorsement: Essential for operating our specialized vehicles. If you don’t have the endorsement, we will support you in obtaining it.
• Experience: Previous experience with vacuum trucks and storm/sewer lines is required.
• Manual Transmission Skills: Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
• Physical Fitness: Capability to lift and carry up to 70+ pounds frequently throughout the day.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Driving and Operation: Approximately 20% of your time will be spent driving, with the remaining 80% focused on operating the VAC truck and assisting with storm and sewer line maintenance.
• Hands-On Tasks: Lifting manhole lids and, if necessary, climbing into manholes to address various issues.
• Equipment Management: Operating VAC truck hydraulics and boom, while adhering to safety protocols and PPE guidelines.
