Job summary

United Site Services, Inc. seeks a Utility Technician to operate Class A/B/C vehicles, including pumper, service, and fence trucks, to support site servicing needs.

The role involves inspecting vehicles, delivering and picking up portable restrooms, holding tanks, sinks, and containers across designated work sites. You will report issues, maintain logs, and communicate with dispatch, while following safety rules.

Qualifications

• Two years of commercial driving experience.
• Valid Driver License (CDL or non-commercial).
• Excellent time management, customer service and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily pre-shift and post-shift vehicle inspections and report deficiencies.
• Report improper operation, faulty equipment, and unusual conditions to Operations Manager.
• Operate service truck to designated work sites based on routing information.
• Service portable restrooms, holding tanks, septic tanks, sinks, showers, etc., following servicing guidelines.
• Notify management of issues on assigned routes.
• Maintain radio contact with dispatch for instructions and location changes.
• Maintain truck logs according to state and federal regulations.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Operate flatbed truck to deliver or pick up portable restrooms, sinks, holding tanks, or containers.
• Update tickets with delivery/pick-up details.
• Operate fence truck to deliver or pick up fence materials; lead on fence jobs when assigned.
• Operate tanker/transfer truck to/from local dump and complete required paperwork.
