Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have valid Arkansas CDL Class A.
• CDL tanker endorsement within 30 days of employment.
• Experience in maintenance/operation of a commercial vehicle preferred.
• ArcGIS and digital GPS mapping knowledge preferred.
• Must meet training requirements of the Utility Worker CDL Career Path within two years.

Responsibilities

• Follow Crew Leader or Supervisor instructions.
• Assist in loading/unloading materials.
• Use hand tools as required.
• Perform backfill and cleanup tasks.
• Operate assigned commercial vehicle with safety checks.
• Load/unload and secure equipment and supplies.
• Provide information to Crew Leader as required.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and fleet records.
• Keep job sites neat and orderly.
• Assist in upkeep of utility buildings and grounds.
• Maintain a good driving record.
• Follow safety practices and wear PPE as required.
• Respect safety rules and procedures.
