Job summary

Ellison-Mills Contracting is seeking a professional driver with a Valid Class A CDL to join our construction fleet. The role focuses on operating dump, water, lowboy, and belly dump trucks, hauling materials, and supporting field crews.

Applicants must have at least 3 years of experience in commercial vehicle operation within construction settings, maintain a clean driving record, and comply with DOT regulations. A tanker endorsement and a valid medical card are preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience operating commercial vehicles in a construction environment.
• Clean driving record and ability to meet company insurance.
• Experience hauling construction materials, equipment, aggregates, and spoil materials.
• Ability to safely operate dump trucks, water trucks, lowboys, belly dumps, and other commercial vehicles.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, vehicle inspections, and load securement requirements.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete required documentation.
• Ability to assist crews with loading, unloading, and general labor duties as needed.
• Experience working around heavy equipment and active construction sites.
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
• Vactor truck experience is a plus.
• Tanker endorsement preferred.
• Valid medical card required.
