Job summary

Gabrielli Truck Sales in Milford, CT is seeking a Delivery Driver to deliver and pick up vehicles and equipment for the dealership and to perform road tests.

The role requires keeping accurate delivery logs, obtaining signatures, and ensuring timely completion of all deliveries. The driver also performs basic truck maintenance, checks fluids, and reports maintenance needs to management. Some shop assistance and upkeep duties are included.

Responsibilities

• Picks up and delivers vehicles and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors.
• Keeps an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups. Requests recipient's signature on each delivery entry.
• All deliveries are expected to be made in a timely manner.
• If all deliveries cannot be made you must notify management immediately.
• Handles basic maintenance of the truck including filling tank with gas, checking oil, keeping it clean, and making sure required inspections are performed.
• Fluid levels must be checked every morning.
• Advises parts manager if delivery trucks need major repairs and maintenance.
• Maintains professional appearance.
• Accidents, traffic violations, registration, inspection and insurance dates must be reported to management immediately.
• Helps out around the shop with building maintenance
