Job summary

Brown Foodservice, Inc. CDL Driver Training Program prepares trainees to pass the state tests and earn a class A CDL. A qualified trainer supports development during training, with routes delivering fine foods from our Louisa, Kentucky warehouse.

Starting pay is $13.50 per hour pre-permit and $14.50 per hour once permit obtained, reflecting on-the-job learning and safety-focused practices in a long‑standing company.

Qualifications

• Must learn and adhere to DOT and FMCSA regulations.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor-trailer and deliver products on routes with accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with DOT and other traffic regulations.
• Inspect vehicle and maintain electronic logs per DOT rules.
• Communicate issues to Supervisor promptly by phone.
• Complete administrative paperwork for transportation ops.
• Maintain professional appearance and safety standards.
