Job summary

Buffalo Biodiesel Inc. in Buffalo, NY is seeking an experienced CDL Driver/Trainer to join our growing team. The role involves hands-on training, extensive travel, and ensuring safety standards with both CDL and NON-CDL drivers.

You will lead ride-alongs, manage drivers, and conduct equipment and safety checks, working about 50 hours per week across 2-4 nights away from home. Requirements include a Class B CDL, 2+ years management, DOT safety knowledge, strong communication, and a Bachelor's

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of management experience.
A Class B CDL.
A Drug-free lifestyle.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Strong understanding on how to work with drivers.
Strong DOT safety and training skills.
Ability to lift 75lbs.
Bachelor's Degree.

Responsibilities

Traveling out of town 2-4 nights per week.
Ability to train hands on, and get greasy.
50 hours of work time per week.
Ability to manage people, and maintain standards directly with drivers.
Completing ride along training with new drivers.
Completing ride along trainings to qualify and retrain existing drivers.
Conducting spot equipment and safety checks.
Enforcement of company process and safety guidelines for both CDL and NON-CDL drivers.
