Job summary

Buffalo Biodiesel Inc. is seeking an experienced CDL Driver/Trainer to join our growing team in Buffalo, NY. The role requires managing drivers, conducting ride-alongs, and enforcing safety standards across CDL and NON-CDL staff.

The position involves travel 2-4 nights weekly, 50 hours per week, and hands-on training with a focus on safety and operational excellence. A Class B CDL and a Bachelor’s degree are required, along with strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• A Class B CDL.
• A Drug-free lifestyle.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong understanding on how to work with drivers.
• Strong DOT safety and training skills.
• Ability to lift 75lbs.
• Bachelor's Degree.

Responsibilities

• Traveling out of town 2-4 nights per week.
• Train hands-on and get greasy.
• 50 hours of work time per week.
• Manage people and maintain standards with drivers.
• Complete ride-along training with new drivers.
• Complete ride-along trainings to qualify and retrain existing drivers.
• Conduct spot equipment and safety checks.
• Enforce company processes and safety guidelines for both CDL and NON-CDL drivers.
