Job summary

Buffalo Biodiesel Inc. is seeking an experienced CDL Driver/Trainer in Buffalo, NY. This full-time position involves traveling 2-4 nights per week, training drivers hands-on, and maintaining safety standards across a growing team.

The role requires a Class B CDL, at least 2 years of management experience, strong communication skills, and a solid DOT safety background. Expect 50-hour weeks with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• A Class B CDL.

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong understanding on how to work with drivers.
• Strong DOT safety and training skills.
• Ability to lift 75lbs.
• Bachelor's Degree.

Responsibilities

• Traveling out of town 2-4 nights per week.
• Ability to train hands on, and get greasy.
• 50 hours of work time per week.
• Ability to manage people, and maintain standards directly with drivers.
• Completing ride along training with new drivers.
• Completing ride along trainings to qualify and retrain existing drivers.
• Conducting spot equipment and safety checks.
• Enforcement of company process and safety guidelines for both CDL and NON-CDL drivers.
