Job summary

Admiral Beverage in Rapid City, SD is seeking a Delivery Driver Trainee to train on an established route with a certified trainer, with the goal to become a Class A Delivery Driver.

Must have a valid driver's license and be able to obtain CDL permit and Medical Card. Duties include delivering beverages on highway, rural, and city streets, recording sales, operating inventory and invoicing systems, assembling POS displays, and maintaining vehicle and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to obtain CDL permit and Medical Card.
• Ability to deliver on an established route with safety and accuracy.
• Good communication with supervisor and customers.
• Ability to operate inventory and invoicing systems.

Responsibilities

• Drives truck over established route to deliver products.
• Delivers beverage products to customers on highway, rural, and city streets in compliance with regulations.
• Works without direct supervision to deliver all products for established routes.
• Effectively communicates issues and customer concerns to supervisor.
• Records sales, buy back, delivery and variance information daily.
• Operates computerized inventory and invoicing system to record stops and deliveries.
• Operates hand trucks and electric pallet jacks.
• Constructs or assembles display aids from POS materials.
