Job summary

Trulite Glass & Aluminum Solutions offers a Driver Trainee Program where you can start a stable career as a CDL driver with no prior experience. The company pays 100% of CDL training through an approved partner school and provides paid training, benefits from day one, and a clear path from trainee to licensed driver.

As a Trainee you will undergo a four-phase program including selection, CDL training, apprenticeship with a mentor, and eventually full driver status to independently operate

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum age 21 for interstate routes (18 for intrastate routes, where applicable).
• Valid driver's license held for at least 3 years with clean driving history.
• Able to pass a background check, DOT pre-employment drug screen, and FMCSA Clearinghouse query.
• Willingness to sign the Trulite training service agreement.

Responsibilities

• Move through Trulite's four-phase Driver Trainee program: selection, CDL training, apprenticeship, and full driver status.
• Complete HR screening, MVR/background review, DOT physical, and Clearinghouse checks.
• Participate in CDL training with an approved partner driving school.
• Engage in supervised ride-alongs and progressive driver responsibilities until full status.

Trulite Driver Trainee Program

• Trulite pays 100% of your CDL training — tuition, testing fees, and required materials — through an approved partner driving school

Who You Are

• Someone looking to start a stable, well-supported career as a professional CDL driver — no CDL or prior trucking experience needed
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Reliable and safety-minded, with a clean driving history
• Ready to commit to a structured training and apprenticeship program
• Willing to sign a service agreement with Trulite in exchange for fully sponsored CDL training (details provided during the application process)

As a Driver Trainee, you'll move through Trulite's four-phase program:

• Application & Selection: HR screening, MVR/background review, DOT physical, and FMCSA Clearinghouse query
• CDL Training: classroom instruction, behind-the-wheel driving, DOT compliance, glass-specific load securement, and CDL skills testing through an approved partner driving school
• Driver Apprenticeship: supervised ride-along and local delivery routes with an assigned driver mentor, progressively increasing responsibility, and formal checkpoints at 30 and 60 days
• Full Driver Status: independent route assignment, safely operating a CDL to deliver glass products

Skills You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum age 21 for interstate routes (18 permitted for intrastate-only roles, where applicable)
• Valid driver's license held continuously for at least 3 years, with no at-fault accidents or moving violations in the past 3 years, and no DUI, reckless driving, or license suspension on record
• Able to pass a background check, DOT pre-employment drug screen, and FMCSA Clearinghouse query
• Willingness to sign the Trulite training service agreement
