Job summary

FCC Environmental Services, LLC is hiring a full-time driver to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle and provide prompt collection services. The role requires a Class A CDL with a tanker endorsement, and several years of relevant trucking experience, including end-dump operations.

You will perform pre/post trip inspections, navigate diverse routes, and maintain compliance with FCC safety regulations while engaging with customers and dispatchers to ensure timely service.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A commercial driver’s license.
• Tanker endorsement required.
• Three years of tractor-trailer, tanker or semi-dump experience preferred.
• End Dump Truck experience a plus.
• Ability to lift or carry heavy objects as necessary.
• Must meet all qualifications as defined under Department of Transportation regulations.
• Clearinghouse profile required.
• FCC is a drug-free workplace with substance abuse testing for onboarding and random testing during employment.

Responsibilities

• Completes a pre/post-operation check of a commercial vehicle per FCC regulations to verify tire pressure, fluids, safety devices, gauges, and components.
• Operate vehicles on assigned routes including roads, residential neighborhoods, and alleys.
• Control vehicle with joystick as applicable while following safety procedures.
• Interact courteously with co-workers, dispatchers, and customers to ensure timely, professional service.
• Monitor vehicle status to minimize downtime and maintain operational readiness.
• Complete paperwork and reports accurately.
• Maintain productivity standards to service all clients promptly and effectively.
• Follow and enforce all safety regulations and procedures.

Position Summary:

The driver position is responsible for safely operating a commercial motor vehicle and providing prompt and complete collection services.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Completes a pre/post-operation check of a commercial vehicle in line with FCC regulations to verify tire pressure, fluid levels, safety devices, gauges, and other components are in correct operating condition.
• Ensure commercial vehicles are safely operated on allocated routes that encompass roads, residential neighborhoods, and alleys.
• Ability to manually and/or automate controls and joystick equipment in compliance with the FCC’s safety regulations and procedures.
• Engage courteously with co-workers, dispatchers, and customers to ensure that all services are performed in a timely and professional way.
• Continuously monitors the vehicle’s status to ensure it remains operationally ready in order to reduce downtime.
• Completes necessary paperwork and other reports accurately.
• Maintains departmental productivity standards to ensure all clients are serviced in a timely and effective way.
• Follows and enforces all safety regulations and procedures.

Requirements

Education:

• High School diploma or GED

• Class A commercial driver’s license

• Three years of prior tractor-trailer, tanker or semi-dump experience a plus
• End Dump Truck Experience a plus
• Ability to lift or carry heavy objects as necessary.

• Clearinghouse profile required.
• FCC is a drug-free workplace. Substance abuse guidelines are in place. Substance abuse testing is required for the initial onboarding procedure and random testing for continued employment.
