FCC Environmental Services, LLC is seeking a Driver to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle and provide prompt collection services in Dallas. You will perform pre/post-operation checks and follow FCC safety rules on routes including streets and alleys.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, a Class B CDL, ability to lift heavy objects, and adherence to DOT regulations. FCC offers a health plan, 401(k), life insurance, PTO, and training in a diverse, equal opportunity environment.

• DOT regulations knowledge and safe operating procedures are required.
• Ability to lift or carry heavy objects as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Completes pre/post-operation checks of a commercial vehicle per FCC regulations.
• Operates a commercial motor vehicle on assigned routes including roads, streets and alleys.
• Interacts courteously with dispatchers and customers to ensure timely service.
• Monitors vehicle status to reduce downtime and ensure operational readiness.
• Completes paperwork and reports accurately and maintains productivity standards.
• Follows all safety regulations and procedures.

It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.Position Summary:The driver position is responsible for safely operating a commercial motor vehicle and providing prompt and complete collection services.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Completes a pre/post-operation check of a commercial vehicle in line with FCC regulations to verify tire pressure, fluid levels, safety devices, gauges, and other components are in correct operating condition.Ensures commercial vehicles are safely operated on allocated routes that encompass roads, residential neighborhoods, and alleys.Ability to manually and/or automate controls and joystick equipment in compliance with the FCC's safety regulations and procedures.Engages courteously with co-workers, dispatchers, and customers to ensure that all services are performed in a timely and professional way.Continuously monitors the vehicle's status to ensure it remains operationally ready in order to reduce downtime.Completes necessary paperwork and other reports accurately.Maintains departmental productivity standards to ensure all clients are serviced in a timely and effective way.Follows and enforces all safety regulations and procedures.RequirementsEducation:High School diploma or GEDExperience and Competencies:Garbage/Recycling experience preferredClass B commercial driver’s licenseAbility to lift or carry heavy objects as necessaryMust meet all qualifications as defined under Department of Transportation regulationsClearinghouse profile requiredFCC is a drug-free workplace.
