Job summary

Southern Tire Mart in Dallas, TX is seeking a delivery driver to safely operate company trucks for delivering and picking up commercial tires and related products. You will load/unload items using safe techniques and handle delivery documentation with accuracy.

Responsibilities include pre- and post-trip inspections, responding to safety issues, and providing excellent customer service at locations. Overtime and flexible hours may be required; prior delivery or warehouse experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Class A or B CDL with a clean driving record.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.
• Ability to lift/move tires weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Overtime may be required.
• Prior delivery or warehouse experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company trucks to deliver and pick up commercial tires and related products.
• Load and unload tires, wheels, and related equipment using proper safety techniques.
• Ensure accurate delivery documentation, including invoices, delivery tickets, and customer signatures.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, reporting any vehicle maintenance or safety issues.
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery and pick-up locations.
• Assist with warehouse operations as needed, including inventory counts and organizing stock.
