Founded in 2010,The Ground Up(TGU) is Houston's fastest growing landscape supply company. We manufacture mulches & soils and carry a large selection of base, gravels, and sand products. TGU also operates three re-wholesale nurseries in the Houston Metro Area.
Job Summary:
The CDL A Driver will deliver product in a safe, efficient and conscientious manner. The CDL driver will deliver soils, mulch, and compost largely in the Houston metropolitan area. The CDL Driver has extensive city driving experience - especially the ability to navigate into tight residential developments and loading docks.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; duckwalk, reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; outside weather conditions and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
