Talus Development is seeking a CDL Driver/Laborer to join our construction crew in Phoenix. The role involves manual labor for placing underground telecommunications cable and sewer pipelines, with on-call rotation to support the team. Qualifications

• Climb into and out of equipment (cars, trucks, backhoes, trenchers, etc).
• Operate or work around heavy equipment and machinery.
• Knows and obeys all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Rules and Regulations.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 75+ pounds.
• Work outdoors in diverse environments and in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Performs general construction work under the direction of a Foreman/Supervisor.
• Hand dig holes and trenches with a shovel and other hand tools.
• Basic knowledge of underground cable locating.
• Operate various types of trucks and equipment.
• Transport equipment and materials.
• Install underground telecommunications cabling.
• Flagging traffic and set up safety perimeters.
• Communicate effectively with customers and employees.
