Job summary

Elderwood at North Creek is seeking a Transport Driver to safely transport residents between hospitals and Elderwood facilities in North Creek, NY. The role requires maintaining safety protocols, handling transfers, and communicating effectively with residents and families.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of driving-related experience, a NY CDL with passenger endorsement, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Minimum 2 years of driving-related experience.
• Valid NY CDL Class A/B/C with passenger endorsement.
• Clean driving record (no violations in past 36 months).
• Complies with NY VTL Article 19-A and safety procedures.
• Reads/writes/speaks English at an intermediate level.

Responsibilities

• Drive safely to ensure passenger safety and minimize vehicle wear.
• Keep vehicle in safe operating condition and report servicing needs.
• Comply with NY laws and company transportation manual at all times.
• Safely assist and secure passengers before departures.
• Transport residents and belongings between facilities as requested.
• Notify families of new resident transfers and arrival times.
