Job summary

FCC Environmental Services, LLC is seeking a Driver to safely operate a commercial vehicle and perform prompt waste collection along designated routes in Florida. Responsibilities include pre- and post-trip inspections, enabling safe route operations, and timely service.

You will complete required reports while following DOT regulations and FCC safety policies. Ideal candidates possess a Class B CDL, prior garbage/recycling experience, and the ability to lift heavy objects.

Qualifications

• Garbage/Recycling experience preferred.
• Class B commercial driver’s license.
• Must meet all qualifications as defined under Department of Transportation regulations.
• Clearinghouse profile required.
• Substance abuse testing is a requirement for both the initial on-boarding procedure and random testing for continued employment.
• Ability to lift or carry heavy objects as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Completes a pre- and post-operation check of a commercial vehicle in line with FCC regulations.
• Safely operates vehicles on allocated routes including roads, residential neighborhoods, and alleys.
• Manages controls and joystick equipment in compliance with safety regulations.
• Engages courteously with co-workers, dispatchers, and customers to ensure timely, professional services.
• Continuously monitors vehicle status to minimize downtime.
• Completes paperwork and reports accurately.
• Maintains productivity to ensure timely service for clients.
• Follows and enforces all safety regulations and procedures.
