Job summary

FCC Environmental Services, LLC seeks a professional CDL driver to safely operate commercial vehicles and provide prompt collection services in Saint Augustine, FL.

You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, follow DOT rules, engage with customers, and maintain logs and paperwork in a timely, accurate manner.

The role requires a Class B CDL, ability to lift heavy objects, and a commitment to safety in a dynamic waste collection environment.

Qualifications

• Garbage/Recycling experience preferred.
• Class B commercial driver's license required.
• Ability to lift or carry heavy objects as necessary.
• Must meet all qualifications under DOT regulations.
• Clearinghouse profile required.
• Substance abuse testing required for onboarding and ongoing employment.

Responsibilities

• Completes a pre- and post-operation check of a commercial vehicle in line with FCC regulations.
• Operate vehicles on routes that include roads, neighborhoods and alleys.
• Operate controls and joystick equipment safely per FCC procedures.
• Interact courteously with co-workers, dispatchers and customers to ensure timely service.
• Continuously monitors vehicle status to reduce downtime.
• Completes paperwork and reports accurately.
• Maintains productivity standards to service clients in a timely way.
• Follows and enforces all safety regulations and procedures.
