Job summary

FCC Environmental Services, LLC seeks a dedicated driver to operate and maintain commercial vehicles on assigned Tampa routes. You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, ensure safe operation, and interact professionally with dispatchers and customers to deliver timely services.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and a Class B CDL, with compliance to DOT regulations and the company’s safety guidelines. Substance abuse testing is part of onboarding and ongoing employment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Class B commercial driver’s license required.
• Must meet all DOT requirements and clearinghouse rules.
• Ability to lift heavy objects as needed.
• Substance abuse testing is required for onboarding and ongoing employment.

Responsibilities

• Completes pre- and post-operation checks of a commercial vehicle to verify tire pressure, fluid levels, safety devices, gauges, and other operating components.
• Ensure vehicles are safely operated on allocated routes including roads, residential neighborhoods, and alleys.
• Operate controls and joystick equipment in compliance with FCC safety regulations and procedures.
• Engage courteously with coworkers, dispatchers, and customers to ensure timely and professional service.
• Continuously monitor vehicle status to minimize downtime and keep service ready.
• Complete necessary paperwork and reports accurately.
• Maintain departmental productivity to service all clients promptly.
• Follow and enforce all safety regulations and procedures.
