Harris Teeter seeks an experienced truck driver for the Fredericksburg, Virginia distribution center. You will operate tractor-trailer units up to 57 feet, transport groceries to stores and vendors, and verify loads and documents at destinations.

You must hold a CDL, have at least five years of driving experience, and comply with DOT regulations and safety policies. The position requires punctuality, reliability, and the ability to work flexible shifts in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL license required for driving role.
• Minimum of five years related driving experience.
• Ability to follow DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Ability to load/unload and manage warehouse duties as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Verify load and inspect tractor/trailer per safety regulations.
• Drive truck to destinations and navigate roads.
• Verify loads with load/trip sheets and collect receipts.
• Maintain contact with supervisor for instructions and delays.
• Perform basic roadside or on-site repairs as needed.
• Refuel and maintain tractor and Thermo-King units.
• Keep driver logs compliant with DOT rules.
• Load or unload truck and assist in warehouse when required.
• Adhere to attendance and safety policies.
