Job summary

Jobot is seeking a skilled Permanent CDL Driver to join our manufacturing team. You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of products to customers, operate and maintain assigned trucks, and collaborate with dispatch to plan routes.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of truck driving experience, a Class A CDL, clean driving record, and the ability to pass drug tests and physical fitness assessments. Knowledge of GPS and logistics procedures is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of proven truck driving experience.
• Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record.
• Experience with GPS, AVL units and CB radios.
• Strong time management and communication skills.
• Must pass drug and alcohol tests and a physical fitness test.
• High school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy or tractor-trailer trucks.
• Load and unload cargo.
• Track and document activity logs.
• Report issues to dispatch.
• Inspect truck before and after trips.
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
• Comply with trucking rules, regulations and company policies.
