Job summary

Capitol Materials, Inc. in Palmetto, GA is seeking a delivery driver to safely operate a commercial vehicle and deliver building materials to job sites. You will load/unload, maintain compliance, and provide professional customer service while following DOT and company policies.

Ideal candidates hold a valid CDL with Class B preferred, a clean MVR, and a High School diploma or GED. Physical requirements include lifting up to 100 lbs and exposure to outdoor conditions on construction sites.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
• Minimum Class B License, Class A strongly preferred.
• Must have a clear three (3) year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• Must have overall knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect truck/trailer for defects for safe operation.
• Safely load building materials onto flatbed or boom truck and unload products at job sites.
• Deliver materials to assigned area as directed by the customer while prioritizing personal safety and the safety of those around you.
• Maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations.
• Report all accidents involving driver or company equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service skills and professional attitude.
