Job summary

Kent Companies is seeking a CDL driver to gather and pack job site materials, drive and deliver orders, and ensure safe, compliant operations across local Texas sites. The role demands attention to stock details, safe driving, and coordination with the delivery manager to meet deadlines.

The position requires a Class A CDL with airbrakes and construction experience, along with a clean driving record and ability to pass required screenings. Local travel and rotating weekends are expected.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL with airbrakes.
• Two years of experience in commercial construction with heavy equipment.
• Clean driving record required.
• Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• MVR must meet DOT standards.
• Able to lift up to 60 pounds to waist level.

Responsibilities

• Determine delivery details and plan routes.
• Load stock to prevent breakage and deliver to job sites.
• Deliver materials by deadlines; coordinate with delivery manager.
• Inform clients/management of delays or issues.
• Comply with road rules and company policies.
• Drive safely in all weather and conditions.
• Operate heavy machinery as needed.
• Submit required documentation and expenses.
