Job summary

Ferguson in Roswell, GA is seeking a delivery driver to support our customer-first operations. The role requires a valid CDL, lifting up to 50 lbs, and delivering materials using pallet jack and two-wheel dolly, with pre/post-trip inspections.

Schedule is Monday to Friday, 6:00am start until completion, onsite. Pay starts at $25 per hour based on experience, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401(k) with company match and PTO.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Meet and maintain CDL requirements.
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations.
• Maintain valid DOT Medical card.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Background in warehouse/logistics is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to customers using pallet jack and dolly, ensuring ticket is delivered.
• Pick up customer returns and verify product for credit.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; fuel and report issues.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Assist warehouse with pulling, packing, receiving, staging and stocking material.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Adhere to PPE rules and safety weights as required.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid CDL
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations
• Must currently, have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card in order to meet driver requirements.
• Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs
• A background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving and delivery is a plus
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads

Responsibilities:

• Deliver materials to the customer, which includes utilizing pallet jack and two-wheel dolly to load and unload and ensuring delivery of ticket with material
• Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed, as well as receiving, verifying, staging and stocking incoming material
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.

Pay Range:

$19.26 - $30.76

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
