Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions is seeking a CDL Driver to safely operate tractor-trailer rigs on job sites under DOT regulations. This role requires a strong safety mindset, load securement expertise, and the ability to work with a team in dynamic field conditions.

You will conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, handle rigging and crating tasks, and complete daily paperwork while adhering to safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Class A CDL with Airbrakes and combo endorsements.
• Minimum 2 years proven driving experience at ACDL level.
• Minimum 3 years proven experience or comparable field preferably within the construction service industry.
• Basic knowledge of operating equipment (Forklifts, man lifts, mobile platform lifts, etc.).
• Experienced knowledge of load securement and safe hauling practices.
• Rigging experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Drive tractor-trailer rigs under DOT regulations to job sites.
• Operate electronic logging and maintain safe loads.
• Assist with rigging, crating, and load securement tasks.
• Complete required paperwork daily.
• Maintain safety and professionalism on site.
• Collaborate effectively with team to meet goals.
