Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 12 months of related delivery experience preferred.
• Must pass a DOT physical and have a valid CDL/driver's license.
• Maintain driving record per company standards and traffic laws.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and coordinate with dispatchers.
• Obey traffic laws and drive safely.
• Secure cargo and balance it in the vehicle.
• Maintain logs of working hours per regulations.
• Check and address vehicle issues before driving.
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations.
• Report defects, accidents, and violations.
• Perform daily truck maintenance (refueling, cleaning).
• Load/unload with forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Interact with customers professionally.
• Do pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Record cargo deliveries and verify loads.
• May operate forklift to move items as needed.
